Mathematics Support
The support for students provided by the Mathematics Learning Support Centre (MLSC) is comprehensive. One to one support, provided by experienced mathematics and statistics lecturers, is available for both mathematics and statistics (see the timetables). In addition, a statistics consultancy is offered and appointments may be booked.
See for yourself the support on hand at the West Park location by viewing a video outlining the resources and support for students below.

Although the Central Park location is not covered extensively in the video, please note that Mathematics Support is also available there.
The Eureka Centre for mathematical confidence has recently opened (October 2006) and is the first of its kind in the country. In addition to this, students with additional needs, such as dyslexia, may be offered 1-1 support for an hour a week, from one of our team of experienced tutors.
Finally, the MLSC often runs short courses to enable students to brush up on their basic mathematics or statistics.
Full details of all the student support provision can be found in this section of the website. In particular these pages explain which location students should go to, to access the different forms of support.
Loughborough students can find Department-Specific Support for their studies on the new Mathematics Learning Support Centre Learn Page.
You can visit the MLSC Learn page here and go to the section of your department to find support and online resources (iPod videos, leaflets, quick reference sheets) for your studies.
